  • When you create a Repyrus account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.
  • When you use our trading journal features, we collect the trade data, journal entries, and other information you explicitly enter into the platform. This data belongs to you.
  • We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our service, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and usage patterns within the application.
  • We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze how our service is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Repyrus platform and its features.
  • To authenticate your account and maintain security.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription (handled by our payment processor, Stripe).
  • To send transactional emails such as password resets, billing receipts, and important service notifications.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the platform — we use aggregated, anonymized data for this purpose.
  • To respond to your support requests and communications.

3. Analytics & Tracking Technology

  • We use website analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our marketing pages. Depending on configuration, this may include Google Analytics or a privacy-focused alternative. Data is used in aggregate to improve content and conversion flows.
  • We track page views and voluntary interaction events such as clicking a call-to-action button, choosing a pricing plan, or submitting a contact form. These events contain only the page path and a button label — never personal identifiers.
  • Where legally required, we request consent before enabling non-essential analytics cookies. You can opt out through your browser settings or privacy controls.
  • We do not share analytics data with any third parties and use it solely to improve the Repyrus platform and marketing content.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform, including Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), and our cloud infrastructure providers. These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or government request.
  • If Repyrus is acquired by or merged with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

  • We retain your account and trade data for as long as your account is active.
  • If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, with the exception of data we are required to retain for legal or compliance purposes.
  • Anonymized, aggregated data derived from your usage may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement purposes.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: You can update or correct your personal information at any time through your account settings.
  • Deletion: You can delete your account and request deletion of your personal data at any time.
  • Export: You can export your trade data and journal entries in CSV or JSON format at any time.
  • Objection: You have the right to object to certain types of data processing, such as marketing communications.

7. Security

  • We take the security of your data seriously. Your data is stored using AES-256 encryption and transmitted over secure HTTPS connections.

  • While no system is completely secure, we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

  • Repyrus is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
  • Your continued use of Repyrus after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
